GOVERNEMNT OF TELANGANA OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT MINORITIES WELFARE OFFICER, NIRMAL

            The primary objective of the Department is Socio Economic Development and Educational Advancement of Minorities in the State.​ The main functions of the Department are : Introduce schemes to promote accelerated socio economic development of minorities, Introduce educational concessions for students of minority communities, Implement schemes for development of women and children of minority communities, Provide training and employment opportunities, thereby tackling the problem of economic backwardness among minorities, Provide guidance to those in the minority communities wanting to set up entrepreneurial ventures etc.​​

Department Activities:

1. TGMR Schools & Junior Colleges.
2. Bankable Subsidy Scheme/ 100% Subsidy Scheme upto Rs. 1.00 lakh under Economic Support Scheme or any guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.
3. Government of India Pre and Post Matric Scholarships
4. State Govt. Post Matric Scholarships
5. Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship scheme.
6. Graint in Aid to Wakf and Urdu Ghar cum Shadi Khanas
7. Grant in Aid to Churches
8. Skill Development.
9. Study circle.
10. Driver empowerment Scheme.
